Domain expertise in life sciences, green technology, financial services, or consumer technology is valued. So is the ability to work across buy-side and sell-side mandates and understand what each requires analytically.

The role is different from what most research positions offer. At Perusal, an analyst works on live mandates from day one: building models that will be scrutinised by PE partners, writing research that will be published under a global brokerage's name, producing the analytical work behind high-stakes investment decisions across global asset classes. The work is delivered to the client's standard, on the client's timeline, under the client's name. That requires both the analytical rigour to produce it and the discipline to hold that standard consistently.
